Mommy missed a day.  Oops!  It was a Monday, and Mommy was home with you.  I'm sure we went for a walk in the morning around 9am.  We then also most likely went for another walk in the evening with Daddy to the playground.

Today was your 12 month well visit with Dr. P.  As always, you were very shy when he came into the room.

Stats:
Length:  29 inches (50th percentile)
Weight:  21 pounds 7 ounces (75th percentile)
Head Circumference:  47 centimeters (90th percentile)

Overall it was a good appointment.  We got the clear to start cow milk.  Although you did have to receive 3 shots for vaccines.  At least you only cried for about 15 seconds once they were finished.

Happy 1st Birthday Breanna!!  Wow, Mommy can't believe it's been 1 year already.  Time surely does fly!  The year has been the happiest year of my life for sure.  It's all because of you.  I love you so much, and I am proud to be your Mommy.  It's been a learning experience for us both, but it has been filled with smiles and laughter.

Unfortunately, Mommy had to work but we did get to have a small celebration in the evening.  We sang you happy birthday (again), and you had another cupcake.  You got a little bit more into today, than you did yesterday at your party.

We celebrated your birthday with friends and family!

I only have a couple pictures from my camera, since Gram took most of the pictures.  Gram should be providing me with a CD with her pictures, so I will be able to update this post with more pictures.

The Thursday before her party, we decided to change the location.  The weather forecast called for rain and thunderstorms the day of her party.  So we decided to move it to our church's hall.  Luckily, it was available!

Breanna, you were so spoiled the day of your party.  You got so many gifts that it was almost impossible finding homes for your new toys.

At first, you were very shy but you warmed up quickly.  I must admit, you handle pretty well being passed around.  Mommy is proud!

Annual Vacation (continued)

It was a hectic Friday.  Mommy had to go back to work.  I took this picture after putting you to bed.  You look so peaceful.  If I didn't need sleep, I'd love to just watch you sleep.

Since it was our last day on vacation, we had a fun day on the beach.  Just like the last time, you love playing in the ocean and eating the sand.  You always pointed to all of the seagulls and called them "at."  We had a fun time.  I wish we could have stayed forever.

It was another low-key day at the beach.  We went for a morning bike ride.  Dad is riding my bike that we just had the toddler carrier installed on.  The toddler carrier was a gift from Granddad, a once avid bike rider.  You kept poking whoever was riding the bike in front of you.

Afterward, we went to the pancake house.  Everyone was sweaty from the bike ride.  You had a blast shoving the mini-pancakes in your mouth.

Even with your stranger anxiety to most men, you seemed to play so well with Great-Uncle Sonny.  You and him were playing with Elmo and crayons.

Later, we went out to eat at a local Italian place.  You had spaghetti for the first time.  Usually, Mom just gives you small pasta.  You loved playing with the spaghetti and of course Mom forgot a bib.

We rode surreys on the boardwalk.  Gram is taking the picture.  Aunt Sarah and Granddad are in the background.

Breanna, you loved playing and chewing on that pig attached to the front of the surrey.  I tried not to think of how dirty it was, but that you were having a blast.  You loved pointing to other children and seagulls.  Yes, Mom made you wear that bike helmet just to be on the safe side.  Those lap belts aren't always the safest.
